Behind the Curtain is less salon and more a very well-kept secret where your hair gets the VIP treatment. Sally is a perfectionist, meticulous with every strand of hair, wildly creative and the only person who’s ever made me discuss my hair colour with the strategic rigour of a board meeting.
Add excellent wine, a roaring fire in winter and the general feeling you’ve accidentally wandered into the dressing room of someone much more famous than you – the only salon I’ll ever be going back to.
